Christmas is coming!
For weeks, Prince William and Kate Middleton have been decking the hall – Amner Hall, their country home in Norfolk, England, where they will be hosting a Christmas celebration.
“[There is] a huge Christmas tree, covered in fairy lights,” an insider tells ‘Closer.’ “They are putting Christmas cards around the living room and a big wreath with holly and pinecones on the front door.”

The atmosphere, says royals expert Anne Chertoff, will be “simple, yet festive and elegant,” much like Kate herself.
The royal family traditionally spends Christmas week at Queen Elizabeth II’s nearby Sandringham estate, but thoroughly modern William and Kate, both 32, plan to wake up on Christmas morning in their own home with little Prince George.
And they’ve invited Kate’s family, Carole and Michael Middleton and her siblings, Pippa, 31, and James, 27, to join them for the holiday.

It’s their first Christmas at their country home, which was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth. “It will be their family home for the rest of their lives,” notes the insider. Chertoff says they are planning festivities that “won’t be formal. They may come down for breakfast in their pajamas on Christmas morning.

And George, 17 months, will be the star of the show. “He is too young to really understand, but he will be lavished with toys,” the insider says, predicting the toddler, who “is fast on his feet now,” will get a ride-on car or scooter.
